The 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, a premier platform for contemporary African art, is set to return to London for its twelfth edition. Taking place at Somerset House, one of London’s most iconic neoclassical buildings, from October 10 to October 13, 2024, the fair promises to present a rich and diverse array of talent from across the African continent and its diasporas. This year’s event will showcase the works of over 160 artists, represented by more than 60 carefully selected galleries from around the globe.
A Global Gathering of Galleries and Artists

In addition, Brazilian artists including Alexis Peskine, Ana Beatriz Almeida, Matheus Marques Abu, and Henrique Oliveira will showcase their works. These artists will bring a unique blend of African heritage and Latin American cultural narratives, adding an extra layer of diversity to the event.
