The highly anticipated 9th edition of ART X Lagos, West Africa’s premier international art fair, has announced its thought-provoking theme for 2024—“Promised Lands”. Running from October 31 to November 3, 2024, the fair will examine two critical questions: Where do we go, as Nigerians and Africans? And how do we hope to get there?
The theme invites exploration of real and imagined landscapes, offering a platform to reflect on how Africa can advance socially, politically, economically, and artistically. Through the lens of “Promised Lands”, ART X Lagos aims to challenge and inspire both local and global audiences to envision the future of the continent through art.
