A Botswanan by identity and upbringing, Bousfield was born in Tanzania in 1962 before his family relocated to Francistown, Botswana, just weeks later. He comes from a remarkable lineage of African pioneers, explorers and guides, representing the fifth generation of a family whose history in safari stretches back more than a century.
Bousfield’s contribution to African safari culture is difficult to overstate. Set beneath towering leadwood trees, the camp comprises just twelve luxury canvas tents, including family accommodations, ensuring an intimate and highly personalised experience.
