📍: Sidi Ghanem, Marrakech, Morocco

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2026

JAJJAH’s programming is shaped by KECH UNITED, an Africa-focused collaborative platform that unites art, fashion, and creativity. It celebrates shared identity, cultural exchange, and the vibrancy of African creative practices, bringing together friends, partners, and contributors into an interconnected program.

4:00 – 6:00 PM  – Opening Reception in Collaboration with 1-54 featuring Live Music

  • Andrew Dosunmu, The African Game

Solo Exhibition

Marking the 20th anniversary of his iconic series, photographer and filmmaker Andrew Dosunmu documents football matches across Africa, capturing unity, identity, and cultural pride. Shot across multiple countries, the series shifts the gaze from the pitch to those who surround it: the fans. With a cinematic perspective, Dosunmu presents football as a ritual and a shared devotion, creating an archive of contemporary Africa, alive with joy, resilience, and spirit. This exhibition was made possible, in part by the generous support of Sidi Ali.

  • The Black SuperMarket

The Black SuperMarket, an installation and sustainable fashion concept by Art Comes First and Marché Noir, celebrating African craftsmanship, unity, and contemporary design. Through garments, objects, and storytelling, the installation reclaims and reimagines the symbolism of the “SuperMarket” as a cultural hub.

  • Nataal: A Decade of Finery

Nataal celebrates its 10th anniversary with this group show featuring some of the magazine’s most loved imagemakers. Mining the archive alongside new works, Nataal’s curation of portraiture from leading and emerging photographers reflects its long-held belief that collective creativity and aesthetic world-building fosters both beauty and hope.

Mural Painting by eL Seed

In Quartier Industriel Sidi Ghanem, eL Seed invites the public to experience a mural painting on an outdoor building. The artist brings his signature calligraphic language to life, responding in real time to the architecture and surroundings. This is a rare opportunity to witness eL Seed’s creative process as he transforms a public wall into a work shaped by moment, place, and motion.

3:30 PM  – Olive Oil Tasting by Tacapae

Tacapae is presenting Hassan Hajjaj’s Limited-Edition Collector’s Bottles for the first time in Marrakesh. Join us after Friday Couscous for an olive oil tasting, light Tunisian snacks, and to discover the collaboration. Tacapae collaborates with artists to create limited-edition olive oil bottles. It was founded by the artist eL Seed and brings together artists, designers, and makers through collectible objects and experiences rooted in southern Tunisia, centered around an exceptional olive oil from the sea oasis of Gabès.
