A graduate of the Parson School of Design in New York and the KLC School of Design in London, Akerele founded iDesign, an Interior Design firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. Her dedication to the arts is further reflected in her role as the founder of iDESIGN Art, a platform devoted to promoting high-quality, affordable art.
Akerele’s visionary leadership was evident during her tenure as the Secretary-General of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN) from March 2017 to December 2019. She later served as the Vice President from January 2019, significantly contributing to the organization’s growth.
